European BEA 2010 Call for Entries

Once again the time has come to officially open registrations for the European BEA, the contest conceived by Salvatore Sagone – President of the ADC Group – in 2004 and now in its fifth edition. European BEA is the only award at a European level dedicated to the best events of the year. The objective of the Awards is to validate events as innovative forms of communication, integral to the media mix and an important part of a company’s wider marketing strategy.

The great success of last edition of EuBEA (100 events entered from 12 different countries) reinforced the opinion that an international Award was needed by the European events industry to settle high standard of quality accepted by all the countries.
Participation in the EuBEA is open to: Events Agencies, Public Relations, Advertising, Promotion, Companies, Web Agencies, Media Centres, Advertising Agencies, Publishers, Production Houses, Public Bodies and Associations, etc., who have carried out a public or private event anywhere in the world, between July 1st 2009 and June 30th 2010.

06Salvatore Sagone hopes that this edition will be a turning-point: “As is the case for all the other communication sectors, the events sector is also coming out of a difficult period. The first signs of a revival, if not of a recovery, are starting to be seen. Therefore, we expect a richer edition than the previous one, both in quantitative and qualitative terms. As usual, it will be the duty of the jury, composed of businesses and representatives of the most preeminent associations, to evaluate the projects of the contest.”

The new edition of the European BEA involves the participation of many different media partners who actively promote the event. ADC Group has strongly contributed to creating a diffused events culture among the businesses and the specialists of the sector, awarding communication events of a highest level. For this reason many important European publishing firms have chosen to collaborate in the promotion and the pre-production phases of the European Bea. Some European editors have also decided to link their national award to our international one, considered by the Events Industry as the Champions League of events. The events registered for the awards who are also partners of our European BEA will receive a 30% discount on the registration fee.

In a few days the names of the jury will be announced, as will be the program of the Bea Expo Festival, the framework that will host the awards ceremony of the European Bea. In order to register and to find out about the awards that will be given visit the web site www.besteventawards.it
