The Event

Just like the future, full of endless possibilities, our future-themed event offered limitless creative solutions, showing that the future is in each of our hands and that anything is possible.

Future-themed event – an overused topic? We didn’t think so.

Because just like the future, which holds endless possibilities and creates a world where dreams inspire the development of innovation, a future-themed event also offers endless creative solutions. We challenged ourselves to come up with these ideas and… to bring them to life.

The main challenges / goals:

– To find creative and innovative solutions that haven’t been done before and that keep guests connected also on a human level.
– Develop a memorable concept that will serve as a key “cornerstone” during the company’s launch of its new structure and major transformation.
– To convey the message that the future is in the hands of the audience in the room.
– For the first time in company’s history, we had to organize two galas instead of one, and do so in just five weeks.
– Inspire and motivate the employees of Yolo and to show them that their dreams and actions drive innovation across the company.

In the pre-communication phase, we gathered input from employees on what the future means to them and their role in the company’s development. What can each person do to ensure a brighter future, both personally and within the company? We featured these future visions in the event theme and the opening show.

We were inspired by an art-installation seen on instagram – a column made of individually controlled pixels. However, it was a unique product that didn’t exist anywhere in the world in its finished form, so we had to develop our dream solution from scratch.

The design, setup, and operation required considerable time, technical and conceptual understanding, as well as preparation. The final product didn’t just display pre-recorded clips; it also incorporated input from on-site cameras that were filming the event. The installation was part of the program, an added value to co-host, a photo-worthy element, and… something that hinted that anything is possible.
