The main objective of this action was to help Vincci Hotels stand out at Fitur, the world’s most important tourism fair filled with innovations. This annual international event, inaugurated by the Kings of Spain, features over 9,000 global exhibitors, including key players in the tourism industry.
Fitur is crucial for the hotel sector, providing a unique platform for Spanish hotels to promote their services, network with industry professionals, and discover the latest tourism trends. Major hotel chains attend Fitur each year, many with significant media budgets. Our challenge was to achieve relevance with a brand action that would make the stand a must-visit at the fair, while also being newsworthy to attract media coverage and gain organic visibility.
We aimed for participants to learn about Vincci Hotels’ offerings, enhance their perception of the brand, and inspire them to engage with the company post-event, ultimately driving interest and bookings.
To achieve our objective, we started from a simple insight about the fair: “there are so many things to see at Fitur that we need a place to sleep.” Surprisingly, none of the 50 most prestigious hotel chains had ever considered this idea in its 44 editions.
Based on this premise, we decided to do something truly innovative for this fair: we redefined the traditional stand concept, creating a standout experience that would become newsworthy. We transformed the brand’s stand into one of its hotels, featuring a suite where attendees could sleep for the first time in Fitur’s history.
This original yet simple approach provided a way to gain visibility, convey the brand’s hotel essence, and make the stand a must-visit location, turning it into a complete brand experience: a real Vincci hotel with a suite and all the services of the hotel chain.
