The Event

Coca-Cola believes that when kindness is shared we all become Santa, so we turned the iconic Xmas Caravan into Santa’s School of Real Magic, an interactive roadshow that turned spectators into actors.

Coca-Cola’s mission was to reignite its role as the brand of Christmas by evolving the iconic Caravan from a passive spectacle into a catalyst of kindness.
The challenge: in an era of loneliness (1 in 5 adults rarely see loved ones, 35% of teens feel overwhelmed by tech), how could Coca-Cola spark reconnection? The answer was to turn spectators into active participants through Santa’s School of Real Magic: a traveling bootcamp across 17 cities where 11,600 people trained, graduated, and proudly carried the Santa spirit forward.
Goals: deepen brand love, create rituals of generosity, amplify through UGC, and keep Coca-Cola at the heart of Christmas culture in Romania and Moldova, powered by innovation.

The creative leap: transform the Caravan into a Santa’s School of Real Magic. Instead of passively watching Santa arrive, people became Santas themselves. The idea was rooted in the global platform ‘The World Needs More Santas’ and brought to life through innovative rituals and tech.
The insight was simple: kindness spreads best through involvement, not observation. Playful circuits measured core “Santa skills”: Ho-Ho-Ho Meters tested joy, Flying Chimneys tested agility, and the Laugh-O-Meter spread cheer. An AI booth created personalized Santa IDs, making every participant an official Santa. Kindness was ritualized through Gratitude Letters mailed via Posta Româna, while the Recycling Bell linked joy with sustainability. Partnerships with Mobexpert and local fairs integrated culture, while UGC and influencers democratized the experience, ensuring every visitor became a giver and a storyteller.
