A B2B Product education & training event with two activations at Elkjop Campus, the Nordics biggest annual electronics gathering with 5500 employees & 150 + suppliers who meet for two weeks.
Our objectives were many for this event & focused on the RSA´S or (Retail Sales Associates)
1 Create a hand on experience that would improve knowledge about Pixel-Chromebook products & Gemini AI hero capabilities
2 Address a broader question of why & how can people use Google products AI & Gemini in their everyday lives
3 Show how these very different products work better together
4 RSA´s should leave with the knowledge & motivation to show, share & sell based on what they learned at Campus
5 Maintain or improve last year’s 4.92 Telecom feedback score
6 Improve last years Chrome Book Computing feedback score of 4.83
Google said it best “The RSA´S are the center of attention & the main reason Google is present at Campus. This year’s strategy is to stand out from all the other OEM´S (original equipment manufacturers) & give the participants the most impactful hands-on experience possible! We aim to do this in a creative, different dynamic, fun and engaging way. The Google way”
In 2024, AI dominated tech trends & Elkjøp Campus embraced this theme, we anticipated others would present a more conventional, muted, tech-driven atmosphere. Fieldwork wanted Google to stand out by blending cutting-edge technology with a colorful celebration of people & retail, infused with a signature Google twist. Enter “The Google Supermarket” a vibrant, techy wonderland that connects the future with the familiarity of everyday life, with a nostalgic nod to the past.
Inspired by a blend of retro pop art & Andy Warhol’s style, we created an immersive training experience where the products were required tools to complete the journey. We created custom made characters & even hidden Easter Eggs. Our venue invited participants to “step into the future” & embark on an interactive journey where bytes meet bites, & innovation is the main “AIsle.” At The Google Supermarket, shopping became a tech-filled adventure-inviting visitors to explore, learn, & leave with a cart full of knowledge
