The Event

A 7000-sqm interactive pavilion at FITUR 2024, Andalusian Crush overcame complex logistical and technological challenges to break visitor records and elevate Andalusia as a leading tourism destination

The goal of “Andalusian Crush” at FITUR 2024 was to reshape Andalusia’s brand as a tourism destination, aiming for significant audience impact. This was achieved by designing a large-scale event that required complex, precise logistics. Through a 7000-sqm pavilion, the aim was for participants to not only learn about Andalusian culture but also experience it in its true essence. It was expected that attendees would become ambassadors for Andalusia after experiencing this immersion. The complexity of the setup stemmed from the fact that, like the advertising campaign, it was neither simply an advertisement nor just a stand. Integrating multiple technologies and activities to facilitate interactions and achieve a truly majestic, innovative and bold staging demanded exhaustive coordination between the production team and various suppliers involved in a live 5-day event.

The creativity and innovation of "Andalusian Crush" were evident in the challenge of transforming a ground-breaking advertising campaign into an immersive experience, requiring a highly sophisticated design and setup. 12 disruptive technologies were deployed, such as Augmented Reality and facial recognition, to personalise the visitor experience. Sensory tunnels and 500 sqm of digital displays were designed to create an immersive, dynamic environment.

This complex execution required significant technical and logistical effort, along with a clear creative vision, to ensure each element of the pavilion contributed to a cohesive narrative, enhancing Andalusia’s brand as a modern, attractive destination.
