The Event

Ecoembes hosted a sustainable event gathering Spain’s top circularity experts to inspire key recycling stakeholders and society at large in embracing a circular economy model.

Ecoembes is a non-profit organization that has been working for 25 years to protect the environment by promoting packaging recycling in Spain. This year, it aimed to embark on a new chapter to address the enormous environmental challenges we face. Through Circularity Day, the event sought to achieve several objectives:
• Present its new brand positioning in an impactful and relevant way to its key stakeholders.
• Serve as a platform to amplify the pressing environmental challenge we must tackle as a society, shifting from a throwaway culture to a circular economy model.

To bring this event to life, we based our concept on the company’s slogan, “Going in circles is the best way to move forward,” and created a day that reflected this essence by rethinking every aspect of the event. Starting with the chosen venue, the stage was circular, with the audience seated around it. We created an immersive environment to connect with nature through natural plant decorations that were replanted afterward, forest-like sounds, and a 3D animated landscape with lighting that mimicked the changes of a day. The speakers were circularity experts from various fields, including gastronomy, architecture, and fashion. The orchestra’s instruments were made from recycled materials, and the musicians were children and teenagers at risk of social exclusion. Even the catering featured second-life products.
