CROATIA – Croatian Meeting Professionals Association Forum 2012
After the spring education Understanding Meeting Planners by Gary Grimmer, Croatian Meeting Professionals Association (CMPA) organized its autumn Forum 2012 – a meeting professionals gathering. Forum 2012 took place on 12 December 2012 at the newly-opened DoubleTree by Hilton Zagreb Hotel.
Over 70 professionals from all over Croatia took part in the Forum together with the guests from Croatian Tourism Board, Croatian Chamber of Commerce and colleagues from other associations in tourism.
The Forum was divided into two parts: plenum and workshop. During plenum, CMPA presented its activity plan for 2013 followed by an action plan of Croatian Convention & Incentive Bureau for 2013. The workshop’s topic was a process from event’s sales to execution where the representatives of hotels’ chains demonstrated their performance in dealing with congress and incentive business. Before an open discussion, an IT company offered their solutions.
Since its foundation in 2011, CMPA has gathered all key people and institutions from the industry and thus became an unavoidable player in Croatian meeting and incentive industry.
