UK – Ricoh Arena to host Jaguar handover

Fifty-nine Jaguar dealers from across the UK are travelling to the Ricoh Arena in Coventry, where they will be given the keys to their sports car demonstrator.

The two-seater F-Types, which are designed in Coventry and built in Castle Bromwich, will be arranged in the shape of a letter F in the car park of the arena.
From there, its predecessor – the last E-Type produced – will lead the procession in a convoy along the A444.

Jeremy Hicks, managing director of Jaguar UK, said: “Jaguar is synonymous with Coventry, so it is fitting that we conduct the ceremonial handover to the dealer network in the grounds of one of this great city’s landmarks.”

Liz Cooper, marketing director at the Ricoh Arena, said for many people it would be their first glimpse of the Jaguar F-Type. “There is great excitement building here to the ceremonial handover of the Jaguar F-Type and it is going to be quite a sight to see the vehicles lined up in car park A before they head off,” she said.
