UK – OLYMPIA EVENTS ANNOUNCES EXCLUSIVE AV PARTNERSHIP WITH AZTEC FOR NEW ICC

Olympia Events, part of Legends Global, has announced Aztec Event Services (Aztec) as the official AV partner for its brand-new International Convention Centre (ICC).
Acquired by Pixelhouse Group in 2025, Aztec is one of the UK’s leading technical services companies, providing audiovisual equipment, technical, and production support to hundreds of corporate events, conferences, and exhibitions annually. As Olympia Events prepares to launch its state-of-the-art convention centre, Aztec’s expertise will play a key role in enabling the venue to attract and deliver large-scale conferences, exhibitions and events through high-quality, innovative and creative technical solutions. The appointment aligns closely with Olympia’s wider £1.3bn regeneration, supporting the delivery of premium, industry-leading event experiences within London’s newest destination for events, entertainment, hospitality and business. At the ICC, Aztec will be responsible for managing all permanently installed AV assets, including the large LED screens, immersive surround sound systems, and bespoke LED lighting.

The partnership future-proofs Olympia Events’ technical offer, ensuring a consistently high standard of service, professionalism and expertise for organisers at both the planning and delivery stages. Aztec’s technical team will operate as an extension of Olympia Events’ team, enabling organisers to scale, customise and create bespoke solutions by drawing on Aztec’s in-house expertise and extensive inventory, while also benefiting from the ICC’s integrated plug-and-play infrastructure.Alex Lewis, COO at Olympia Events said: “It was essential for us to appoint a partner with deep local knowledge, proven experience delivering large-scale events and a clear alignment with Olympia’s long-term vision. Aztec gives us an AV operation that is robust, flexible and scalable from day one, while also being resilient and built for the future. This partnership gives our organisers confidence that the best AV technology and expertise are always within reach. Many of them will already be familiar with Aztec through their work across our exhibitions, so having them lead the technical delivery within our ICC is a strong endorsement for what we are building at Olympia Events.”Aztec’s team is already working closely with Olympia Events to fine-tune the infrastructure and equipment being installed within the new convention centre ahead of its official launch this year.

Designed around the ICC’s flexible floor plan, Aztec’s modular AV approach allows setups to adapt seamlessly to different event formats, giving organisers greater versatility as events scale, reconfigure, or move across spaces.John Robson, Managing Director of Aztec Event Services, said,“We are thrilled to be the on-site AV partner for the brand-new ICC at Olympia, a venue that truly represents the future of events in London and beyond. Our team will be managing a staggering array of technology, from the massive 9.6m LED wall in the main auditorium to the ‘plug and play’ systems in every breakout room. Our goal is to provide a seamless, high-impact experience where the technical infrastructure is so integrated that organisers can focus entirely on their delegate experience, knowing that the innovation and power of the ICC can be harnessed at their fingertips.”Aztec was recently awarded the ESSA (Event Supplier and Services Association) Company Member of the year Award, recognising outstanding contributions to the UK events industry.Aztec is regularly appointed as the official supplier to world-leading exhibitions and provides in-house audiovisual, technical and creative support to corporate events at many prestigious UK venues, including Lord’s Cricket Ground, Arsenal’s Emirates Stadium, the Business Design Centre and Excel London.
