UK – Innovision creates moonlit activation for Puma reveal
Experiential agency Innovision produced the launch event of Puma’s new football kits for Arsenal Football Club last Thursday (10th July), creating a 20-metre-high water projection on the River Thames, in London.
The spectacle by experiential agency Innovision was revealed to fans and bystanders stationed on the North Bank of the river, with the home, away and cup kits displayed via digital projection in front of the EDF Energy London Eye.
The landmark itself was transformed into the Clock End, the famous clock stationed at Arsenal’s Highbury stadium, while moving images of manager Arsène Wenger and first team players showcased the new Puma kit designs.
Innovision also produced an in-store event at Puma’s flagship store in Carnaby Street. Fans were treated to a surprise appearance from players Mikel Arteta, Santi Cazorla and Mathieu Flamini, who exhibited their new wares in the Arsenal-branded shop window.
Tim Stedman, team head of international PR at Puma, said: “We’ve done a few events at Puma and this was one of the more complex and logistically challenging. With the meticulous attention to detail and planning, the consistently calm approach, ability to think around issues, and the attitude of everyone at I nnovision – both events were excellent. Puma is hugely appreciative for each of those things.”
