UK – ‘Events to the Future’ at the London Aquarium
The food, entertainment, lighting and production at the Events to the Future showcase were designed to connect guests with past experiences whilst exploring future event trends.
Guests were given Xylo RFID wrist brands, provided by Excelerated Apps. The bands, supplied by The Events Factory, flashed in time to a video display and also connected guests to their social media account once activated. Content including images and videos from the event could be shared when guests swiped their bands on tablets at the social media station.
An arcade video game was set up in the Pacific Wreck area featuring Pac Man and Space Invaders. Feeding the Fish performed a light show with pixel poi’s LED batons, while divers in the shark tank dressed in space suits and interacted with guests in The Deep.
Guests enjoyed Babycham and cocktails served in champagne saucers. Catering was provided by Dish and Table Dressers supplied theming.
Visitors were also the first to use the recently completed £20,000 bespoke events entrance at the venue.
