UK – Boiler Room and G-Star RAW present the RAW Sessions, launched in London
The Boiler Room project paired up with G-Star RAW to create the RAW Sessions: a collaborative series of intimate films uniting rising artists with up-and-coming directors, before broadcasting an intimate live music session and party around the world, live from each artist’s home turf.
From London to Paris, Johannesburg and Barcelona, the series will hone in on each artist, capturing their raw energy, creative ethos, their music, attitude and style and responding to G-Star RAW’s Fall/Winter 2015 campaign: “How do you wear yours?” (referencing the denim label’s signature jeans collection).
Through both live music events and short films, the RAW Sessions hope to unite the two creative talents and explore what can happen in a journey across two continents. The line-up includes Neverland Clan, Manaré, Piu Piu, Skinny Girls Diet, NSDos, Azamat, Boyzn Bucks, DJ Lag and more.
Boiler Room’s original stomping ground of London opened the RAW Sessions, broadcasted on October 7th, followed by Paris on October 20th, Johannesburg on October 29th and Barcelona on November 12th.
