TURKEY – Great success for the award night of ACE of M.I.C.E. Congress
The ACE of M.I.C.E. Congress, Meeting and Event Awards, that was held for the first time last year by Turizm Medya Grubu with 27 different categories, 67 sponsor companies and the participation of 1.470 people from the sector, found their owners in 28 different categories this year. 
Between January 1st and April 15th 182 applications were made for the award night in which the winners of the works were determined within the frame of differentiated points, service quality, contributions to the promotion of the country and sustainable tourism.
The winners were announced on the award night that took place on October 22nd 2013 in Halic Congress Night. The competition included hotels in Turkey, congress and meeting places, meeting management and meeting support companies as well as activities such as launch meetings, guerilla activities, invitation organizations, corporate social responsibility projects and festivals. Its award night saw the participation of the M.I.C.E. sector as well as around 3.000 guests from politics, business world and arts community and with contributions of 70 sponsor companies under the coordination of TATU Event.
In the jury of ACE of M.I.C.E. Awards there were 46 specialists from institutions and foundations like Turkcell, Turkish Airlines, HSBC, Yapi Kredi, 3M, Pfizer, Roche, Mey Içki, Direct Marketing Communicators Association. The finalists were determined as a result of online votes as of April 15th 2013, due date of the applications. After the long evaluations on jury meeting that took place in Feriye Restaurant on April 29th 2013, the winners in 28 categories were determined. The jury meeting was held under the chairmanship of Jury President Prof. Dr. Semih Baskan.
