SPAIN – The launch of Xbox One made the world go crazy

The presentation of the new generation of Xbox consoles was held on 21st November at Plaza de Colón in Madrid with an exclusive event called ‘XboxOne Experience‘. The dome-shaped space, which was inspired by the Xbox itself, welcomed many fans, including some football players like Sergio Ramos and Cesc Fabregas (image), who challenged each other on stage in a exciting race with ‘Forza Motorosport 5‘.

Amazing videos were projected on the dome and a multitude of Xbox One consoles were all over the place to let participants try one of the most anticipated games between Roman soldiers and zombies.

After the presentation, the dome was kept open to the public for two days.

Apart from Spain, the excitement of the fans arrived everywhere. In New Zealand, the players gathered at the Shed 10 Oakland to watch the mythical Sky Tower turn green and witness the first purchase of Xbox One in the world.
In London, Leicester Square became Xbox One Square with a giant representation of the logo of the console and many celebrations for fans throughout the day.
In New York, zombies, Roman soldiers and supercars met in Times Square: while the surroundings were illuminated in green, Macklemore, Ryan Lewis and 1,000 fans made a countdown to midnight that ended with an electrifying performance at the Best Buy Theater.
