PORTUGAL – Great participation at the first Get Together of Cascais Tourism Association
In order to encourage networking among its members, the Cascais Tourism Association, Visitors & Convention Bureau (ATC) organized its first Get Together, which took place on 28th April.
The first Get Together of Cascais Tourism Association, held at Casino Estoril, was the result of the feedback given by members, as according to the president of ATC, Duarte Nobre Guedes: “This event aims at building a sustainable network between the partners, that today are already 180. They alone have requested, felt the need to know, to present, to discover what each one does.”
Among hotels, golf courses, travel agencies, tourist entertainment companies, restaurants and other service providers, about 300 people attended this first meeting.
Nobre Guedes confessed the worry of keeping in touch with associates is a constant: “Over the past year we’ve promoted the level of management and held meetings with dozens of associates. This approach will continue. It is essential for an association be in contact with its members”.
The Get Together started with an informal networking session, followed by a dinner and the show of Filipe La Feria, “The Music of My Life“.
