PORTUGAL – Alfândega Porto Congress Centre wins IAPCO award
Alfândega Congress Centre was awarded the IAPCO Best National Supplier 2014. It was appointed by AIM Group Lisbon for its service, cooperation and flexibility.
Alfândega Porto Congress Centre received the IAPCO (International Association of Professional Congress Organisers) Best National Supplier 2014. In 60 awards, delivered over the last 20 years, it is the first time that the winner is a Portuguese company.
“It is one of the largest and most versatile conference centres in Portugal,” said Monica Freire, from AIM, who also points out that “the supply services by this Congress Centre meet the highest standards, ensuring the most modern equipment and the most effective and competitive solutions.”
With this prize, presented since 1992, IAPCO awards the most distinguished entities related to the organization of international conferences. The latest winners were: Magix Congress Logistics Santiago (2013); Barcelona Convention Bureau (2012) and the ICC Congress Centre Berlin (2010). The award was presented during the IAPCO Congress, held last February in Lisbon.
