muller.jpgMicheal Müller (image), Campaign Manager Corporate Marketing of Samsung, will lead this year’s jury, a team of

international opinion leaders, representing about 20 European countries, who will reunite in Malta in October

2013.

Micheal Müller has already been a member of the jury panel twice
and he has been chosen by Salvatore Sagone, President of ADC Group, as the perfect person to
lead the jurors thanks to his experience in communication and

event organization for the tecnological industry.

He picks up the baton from Carlo Hermes, Managing Director of Hermes & Partner.

Michael Müller was born in Gera in 1977. He holds an MBA degree in Live Communication (Experiential

Marketing). In 1999 he joined Samsung Electronics Germany. Since 2001 Mr Müller has been working in the

Samsung’s Corporate Marketing department on different positions and projects with focus on fairs,

sponsorships, events and cooperations. As the Group Leader Live Communication, he was responsible

for customer/public events, IFAs, CeBITs, Olympic Campaigns, Motorsport, Football and the Samsung

Campaign of the 12th IAAF World Championship in Berlin in 2009. He received several awards, such as

the European Best Event Award for the Best Public Event in 2010 and was named Employee of the Year in

Marketing of Samsung Europe in 2012.

The chairman of the jury and the jury will have to expect some news from this 8th edition.

First of all, for the first time the jury will go out from the native borders and, from 11-13th October, they will

gather in the island of Malta.

Moreover, the jury evaluation process has changed as well: considering the score obtained online in each

category, it will be defined a short list of 3 finalists which then will voted once again in a plenary session

where the jury will determinate the podium (1°2°3°).

The Best Event Award (BEA) will be awarded among the first places of each category.

Last but not least, this year’s the jury will award the best event that combines the live activities with the

digital activities, the best Hybrid Event.

Regarding the latest news, Micheal Müller declared: “2013
will be another successful year for the EuBEA. I expect more
applications and more participating

countries than last year. The increase of requirements and demands from
the EuBEA organization and

jury is leading to a corresponding reaction.

The application process was revised and optimized. The proceedings will
be more transparent and the jurors

will have more time to discuss the cases more intensively. I am very
optimistic that this change and the well-balanced international jury of
honored event and media professionals promote and underline the leading
role

of EuBEA as the European event evaluation authority.

We are looking forward to many exciting, inspirational, innovative and
creative applications and wish all

applicants good luck, success and all the best”.

As it is known, participation in the EuBEA is open to: Events Agencies, Public Relations, Advertising, Promotion,

Companies, Web Agencies, Media Centres, Advertising Agencies, Publishers, Production Houses,

Public Bodies and Associations, etc., who have carried out a public or private event anywhere in the

world, between July 1st 2012 and June 30th 2013.

The deadline for the registration of projects in Best Event Awards Italy is 26th July.

As always, the events in the race will be judged by prominent representatives of the international events

sector. Soon the complete panel of judges will be published online.
