ITALY – An art installation by Piano B to celebrate Nivea 100th Anniversary
To celebrate this anniversary, Piano B, Milan based agency which has been working with Nivea for more than 10 years, has created an impressive piece of art in a location, the Metropol in Milan, which is a symbol of fashion and Italian creativity. A video installation on 16 round screens run through the brand’s history, immersing the viewer in a three-dimensional and multi-sensory experience. Images and animations on the screen go over Nivea iconography form 1930s to present day, thanks to the work of the team led by Mario Viscardi, artistic director at Piano B.
During the opening party, Dr. Thomas Inglefinger, Beiersdorf Italy Managing Director and General Manager, and Andrea Mondoni, Marketing Director, greeted all the guests and gave them a preview of the new international campaign, featuring the wonderful voice of Rihanna. The pop icon performed live her new song, paying her tribute to Nivea, and enchanting the guests, including a broad representation of AC Milan with Adriano Galliani, Massimiliano Allegri, Clarence Seedorf, Kevin Prince Boateng and Mark Van Bommel.
The exhibition was open to the public from May 6th up to May 14th. A Temporary Shop inside the Metropol allowed all visitors to buy nivea limited editions and new cosmetic products.
