IRELAND – Verve wins Prestigious Award at the International Special Events Awards 2014
Verve, Ireland’s leading event management and experiential marketing agency, has won the prestigious international award in the category “Best Event Produced for a Corporation or Association” at the International Special Events Awards 2014 which were held in Nashville, Tennessee.
The ceremony, which took place from the 8th – 10th January at the Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Centre, welcomed a host of industry professionals from all over the world to recognise and acknowledge their contribution to the industry.
Commenting on the win, Ronan Traynor (image), Verve Managing Director said “We are honoured to have won this prestigious international industry award for the ‘Best Event produced for a Corporation or Association’. It is great to be flying the flag and representing Ireland in the United States.
There is a great deal of creative talent in Ireland and it’s fantastic to see the international recognition for the event industry. We would like to thank our clients with whom we have collaborated and those who made this possible. They are the ones who challenge us and spur us on to produce events at this level. I would also like to acknowledge my team in Verve who are world class and who continuously produce the highest standard of excellence in their work”.
The award was presented to Verve in recognition of an event, which took place in December 2012 in Royal Hospital Kilmainham for over 1800 guests. The festivities included performances by Victorian-era strongmen, laser graffiti, a clear-top tent which enabled guests to dine while enjoying projection mapping on the courtyard’s walls.
The Special Events Awards are the jewel of the International Events Industry and recognise excellence in the global events sector. The judging process is a rigorous procedure, with a panel of international judges and strong competition, which reflects the high standard of competition and entrants.
