GERMANY – Canon #PursuitOfTheShot at Photokina 2016
For the fourth consecutive year, Canon Europe worked with Imagination to create a stand at Photokina, in Cologne, to engage with industry, trade, professional users and consumers with a passion for photography.
The photography and imaging business has experienced a considerable change in recent years. Canon wanted to make a statement to the industry, partners, and consumers that Canon continues to excel at imaging innovation.
In order to do this, Canon Europe worked for the fourth consecutive year with Imagination to create its stand at Photokina, the world’s leading trade fair for photography, video and imaging that this year welcomed 191,000 visitors from over 42 countries.
At the heart of Canon’s presence was a fully immersive brand experience that, through its aggregated content and social competition, created an emotional connection with visitors to the stand.
A step change from a traditional exhibition was made with the Dream Zone conveying Canon’s passion for imaging. Utilising a vast 360 digital environment, the Dreamscape brought to life the story of the current campaign and showcased competition winners. The wider stand highlighted how Canon’s products and services can enable a photographer’s pursuit of the shot.
