Every event can win an award at EuBEA

One of the big worries of agencies in the competition (especially of those with reduced budget events) is that big events can win most of the awards.
But among the new rules of the EuBEA 2007, suggested by the former jury panels, there are two established for avoiding the problem.

Here they are.

AN EVENT CAN WIN ONLY ONE AWARD

a) The event that is awarded the EuBEA is not allowed to win any other award.

Of course, the event worthy of winning the EuBEA has won its typology and many technical excellence awards. So, in order to avoid it getting most of the awards, the positioning is considered when counting the scores for the Special Awards, but will not be mentioned and it will be replaced in the typology and technical excellence categories by the second in the ranking.

b) The event that that is awarded a typology award is not allowed to win any technical excellence awards.

The same above. The event worthy of winning a typology award has won many technical excellence awards. So, in order to avoid it getting the most of the awards, the positioning is considered when counting the scores for the Special Awards, but it will not be mentioned and will be replaced in the technical excellence categories by the second in the ranking.

c) The event that is awarded one or more technical excellence wins only the one with the highest score
Same as above.

SPECIAL AWARD FOR EVENT WITH REDUCED BUDGET

The second new rule was created in order to recognize those events organised with a reduced budget (under 50.000 Euros). These events will compete with all the others, but they will be ranked separately, in order to allow one of them to be awarded the special prize.
