European Bea 2015, the programme is astounding. All you have to do is fly to Seville!

The Festival starts with the jury on November 5th, during which 29 judges – led by Luca Favetta, Manager at HP, will evaluate the shortlisted 104 events. It continues on November 6th, a day filled with content and international guests at the highest level, ending happily with a tour of Seville to discover the beauty of the area.

 

 

Not long to go now, to the second edition of EuBea – the International Festival of Live Events and Communication, purposely created, organised and promoted by ADC Group for the European events industry.
Like last year, the location of the Festival will the Barceló Renacimiento Hotel in Seville, which will host both sessions of the jury as well as the day committed to content and the award ceremony of EuBea Awards.

 

From November 5th to 7th, you will be able to meet, gathered in the same location, representatives of the best European creative agencies and managers of multinational companies, called to intervene in the Festival as jury members of the tenth edition of the Award.

The size and quality of the event is mirrored in this year’s amazing numbers: a shortlist of 104 events, represented by 75 agencies from 16 European countries.

The competing agencies will present their projects on THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 5th, during which 29 European jurors – led by Luca Favetta, Senior Director Global Events and Programs at Hewlett-Packard International, will meet to evaluate the 104 shortlisted and announce the winners of the Awards.

 

The following day, FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 6th, we make room for content, with the long-awaited international speakers who willingly agreed to share their know-how and experience with the audience of professionals from the events and live communication industry.

Let’s go through the organised programme.
The first session of speeches will be dedicated to the theme of INSPIRATION’, and will alternate the likes of Charles Darby, Creative Director of NoSuchThing Ltd., and Gillian Ferrabee, Director, Creative Lab, Cirque du Soleil, on the macro theme ‘Entertainment, communication and creativity as keys to activate engagement’.

 

The second session of intervention will focus on the theme VISION’: Jens Oliver Mayer, Managing Director, Germany for Jack Morton Worldwide; Amanda J. (Paolella) Young, Americas Event Leader at GE Healthcare and Andrew Smith, Creative Director of A-Vision and Vice Chairman of EVCOM, will take turns on stage to talk about Communication in 2020 and how events will strengthen the rules of engagement.

 

CASE HISTORIES, however, will provide the audience with plenty of ideas and stimuli. The themes range from digital tools for engagement (Nadine Vienne, Corporate Events Section Manager of Nissan Europe) to meeting design as building brand reputation (Andrea Faflikova, Regional PR & Event Manager Engagement CEEMEA, Lego), from CRM and Data Management (Ilka Dzeik, Senior Manager Global Corporate Events EMEA, Symantec) to the much-discussed event ROI (Elling Hamso, Managing Partner of Event ROI Institute), and more.

 

Other sessions will focus on the tools and the practical strategies needed to build and engage the audience, striving to stand in an already croweded and stimulating digital landscape. Among the speakers, Marco Odasso, Marketing Manager, Ventuz.
An interesting insight into the use of food, as a way to convey messages and feelings, will be led by Paco Rancero, Chef, Sublimotion, Ibiza.

 

The section LAST WORD TO THE CLIENT’ will ponder on what clients really want and look for from agencies in terms of creativity, innovation and propositive approach.
But not only: we will also discuss contamination and crosscultural projects.
Speakers include representatives of multinational companies, such as Alison Williams, Head of Events L’Oréal and Amanda J. Paolella Young, Americas Event Leader at GE Healthcare.

 

To close, at 7:30pm, the Awards Ceremony of the European Best Event Awards 2015.
