The Event

The Dealmakers Playbook is a groundbreaking employee engagement initiative developed for Social Deal, aimed at embedding the company’s core values and brand promise deeply into it’s internal culture.

The Dealmakers Playbook was conceived to align Social Deal’s internal culture with its external brand promise, ensuring that employees live the same experiences they provide to customers—creating memories together. The primary objective was to embed Social Deal’s core values and brand into every employee’s experience. The Playbook was designed to increase employee engagement, improve retention, and foster deeper collaboration, resulting in an extended average retention period from 24 to 33 months. The culmination of this initiative, SAIL, brought these goals to life in a celebratory and engaging way. This 4-day sailing trip in Croatia treated employees to memories of which one can only dream. Overall, the Playbook succeeded in anchoring Social Deal’s values into its workforce and creating a dynamic, cohesive company culture.

The Dealmakers Playbook was employee engagement on steroids. Rather than a single approach, it employed a vast array of activities to cater to all employees, ranging from personal development workshops to creative team-building exercises. This multi-faceted approach ensured that every employee, no matter their role or interests, was deeply engaged. Employees participated in themed days, wellness initiatives, pitch sessions, and social activities, all tailored to reflect Social Deal’s external identity. The Playbook was also a social media sensation, with content from these activities shared widely across platforms, significantly boosting the company’s employer brand. By integrating such a diverse set of experiences, the Playbook demonstrated its innovation in creating a unified yet personalized journey for employees.
