Party Fashion Night 2023, the 11th edition by Burda Media Polska, brought together top figures in Polish fashion and media to explore trends and showcase standout brands.
The goal was to create a must-attend event for the Polish fashion world, enchanting attendees. This posed challenges for the creative and production teams, especially on a limited budget. We had to develop a concept satisfying various stakeholders: party.pl magazine editors, sponsors, and 10 top designers, each with a unique style. The main challenge was crafting 12 visual micro-worlds for 10 designer shows and 2 commercial partner shows, all within budget. The key was a multi-level implementation idea. Using movable transparent LEDs for the first time in Polish fashion, combined with complex lighting, we introduced 12 distinct worlds, each with its own character yet maintaining coherence. This required careful scenography and lighting to ensure something new appeared on stage despite limited resources. Managing a crew of nearly 100 people, from models to makeup and styling, everything had to be flawless and on schedule.
Every edition of Party Fashion Night has been unique and it is an event to look forward to. No other platform gives such a clear insight into current trends in Polish fashion. And this year was no different. The theme of REFLECTION held many meanings. “A mirror image? A meditation? A thought on the time passed, on the present, and on what is coming. A reflection that is a mirror of past moments and future endeavors. Because the world contemplates itself in the mirror of fashion!”. This year’s show opened with 10 leading Polish designers stepping out onto the catwalk, accompanied by their muses. The muses not only built a sense of the uniqueness of the event but also defined and personified each designer’s ideal silhouette, as reflected in the subsequent shows. The show was rounded off by a mini-concert by Luna, a Polish artist who delivered an ephemeral, and very moving performance together with the models.
