In the space of halls we presented the paintings of Beksinski, one of the most important representatives of contemporary art in Poland, set in motion and put through the filter of modern technologies.
Beksinski was one of the most important representatives of contemporary art in Poland. His work, filled with apocalyptic visions, constantly intrigues and arouses great emotions. We made it possible for artists’ digital alter egos to take viewers on an audiovisual, multisensory journey through the recesses of the human soul, into the world of his imagination and painting.
The master was a great experimenter, reaching for various means of expression, and constantly searching. This openness translated into the form and idea of Beksinski.Live – a project that combines various artists, arts, interpretations & sensitivities.
Music was an integral part of his creative process. That’s why, in the space of halls and arenas, we presented his paintings in motion, with music created for the show, and paintings filtered through the filter of modern technologies
Using AI, it was possible to process Beksinski’s works (>100 paintings&sketches), resulting in intriguing, images that transform into another dimension.
Wasilewski, composer&producer, and a vocalist – Wishlake, created a whole set of songs, especially for the 90-minute show. In addition to 13 dedicated pieces performed live on stage with strings, vibraphone, and drums, the producer rearranged selected iconic pieces of 6 famous Polish musicians, whom guests starred in each city, and made them connected as well as message, as an instrumental line. The songs’ lyrics, vocal arrangements & melodies result from strong trends – primarily the mysterious, cool beats, the understated & infinitely deep and ambiguous Beksinski’s paintings, and finally, his own experiences and reflections. Furthermore, by using AI, we’ve decided to continue the mission, reaching for new means of expression, by giving the Master voice he didn’t have before.
