DAY 3: A wide range of leisure activities to discover the beautiful Sevilla and the Andalusian culture

After a first day entirely dedicated to the work of EuBea’s jury and a second day full of workshops, case studies and round tables, which ended with the European Best Event Awards Gala, the participants had the chance to discover the Spanish city that was hosting the event through a series of exciting and unique experiences, that included wine tasting, a cooking workshop and special tours of Sevilla.

winetastingWine lovers were given the possibility to visit a typical Andalusian Wine Bodega: they also took a look at the production process and tried one of their wines. Later, in another unique venue, a wine tasting was organized and lunch was served in a beautiful Hacienda.

 

cookingworkshop              The famous chefs Pablo González and Samuel Jiménez showed their professionalism in a fun and innovative cooking workshop. With them, the participants cooked some of the most popular and exquisite tapas and dishes from the Sevillian gastronomy, having the privilege to join play an active role in this exciting and tasty workshop. Divided into small groups, they prepared a dish or tapa which initially was made by professional chefs. Cutting edge techniques were used, easy to apply to traditional dishes, making the experience turn into something great and original.

biketourThose who preferred open air activities enjoyed three very special sightseeing tours of Sevilla: on foot, by segway or by bike. Exploring the city in a fun, convenient and environmentally friendly way, they passed by the most interesting modern and traditional points of the city, like the Triana and Santa Cruz neighborhood, The Maria Luisa park, Plaza de España and Metropol Parasol.
