CZECH REPUBLIC – Key specialists in Event Management met at the Professional Forum

Marketing and PR managers and other specialists from major companies operating on the Czech market met at the Event Management Forum held in Prague on March 29th. Total of 14 speakers participated in this event and followed five key topics and their subtitles from the area of Event Management. Present guests had thus an opportunity to listen to and consequently discuss new trends in this filed. The event was organised by the company Top Vision, and the agency Event Arena was the only partner of the forum. The next day, a workshop was held for interested parties, addressing mainly step-by-step preparation of more demanding events.

Within the morning section, speakers from companies Seznam.cz, Pivovary Staropramen, Ceská sporitelna, Microsoft, or Redbull Czech Republic took the floor. Their presentations included topics such as ‘How to manage expert conferences and events for employees’, ‘How to take advantage of positive emotions’ or ‘Modern trends in the Event Management’. In the second half of the day, speakers presented particularly their case studies from practice. Guests were thus acquainted with events held previously in CEZ, like Vodafone, T-Mobile, or LG Electronics’. At the end of the day, speakers, for example, addressed topics like what role social networks play in a modern management event or how to minimise expenses while creating an unforgettable event.

The busy program was guided by moderator Petr Mejsnar, Senior Event Manager, from the company Event Arena. Within his presentation of this agency, he informed present guests of the European Best Event Awards (EuBea) contest. Participants of the event were acquainted with possibilities and conditions, under which their events may be submitted, both previously held and planned. The moderator also offered possible assistance in the submission process to the guests in case of their interest. Subsequently, all participants received the EuBea catalogue from the previous year. European Best Event Awards proved to be interesting for participants, and many of them consider submission of their events in this contest.
