Biography
After studying Journalism and Communication Science I roled into a chief editorship at Reed Business‘ eventmarketingmagazine. After a couple of years we started our own mediaplatform EventBranche.nl and EvenementOrganiseren.nl in the heart of the Dutch industry of eventmarketing and live communication. And as we practice what we preach: our multimedia platform has 5 big own event per year. These events vary from networkevents, congresses, a beachparty for eventprofs to the Gouden Giraffe Event Awards, the awardshow for the Dutch eventindustry that won an BEA award for the best awardshow in the world. In 2024 we launched NEXTLIVE.COMMUNITY a platform and community exlusively for marketers and communicationprofessionals who use live, events and experiences in their marcom-mix. Next to that I am a speaker about trends and developments in the eventmarketing and live comm industry.
An award-winning project must: show the power of LIVE: creativity, sustainability, innovation, strategy and digital tools to create the biggest impact in the marcom-mix.
My advice to the nominees: use all your event excellence and your creative, innovative and strategic choices to showcase the impact!
