UK – The Lego Christmas Express puffs into Covent Garden
Lego revealed its annual Christmas build: a giant red, green and yellow train made with over 500,000 bricks and designed by Duncan Titmarsh, who is the UK’s only Lego certified professional.
There are three carriages, the engine and driver’s cabin, a carriage full of presents and another carriage for the Christmas tree. Smoke pours from the funnel, lights flash and a whistle blows.
This marks the fifth year that Lego has showcased a unique Christmas inspired creation in the capital. It launched the campaign with a 30-metre Lego Christmas tree in 2011, meanwhile other creations have included a giant advent calendar and a walk-through snow globe.
