NETHERLANDS – Mercedes Benz turns night into day with its latest street marketing action
The purpose of this street marketing action was to show the power of Mercedes Benz‘s new night vision system recreating daylight at night in a very creative and visual action, the brand wanted.
Mercedes-Benz Night View Assist is an infrared technology for a brighter view at night. And how do you promote this innovative technology? By “Creating Day at Night” in a street in Amsterdam.
The agency FHV BBDO with BeamSystems was responsible for making this visual illusion reality. To do this, a team of photographers set out to capture images of the street and its buildings during the daytime. Then, at night, these photographs were projected on the darkness of the buildings at passing cars in the street, simulating the vehicles’ headlights illuminating everything around them.
