ITALY – Villa Erba new style
After more than 18 months with a new management, Villa Erba (Cernobbio – Italy) summarizes a new definition of dynamic exhibition and conference center, customer oriented. This is the result of a team effort carried out with enthusiasm under the leadership of the Chairman Jean Marc Droulers and the General Manager Rossella Bernuzzi.
The company was restructured under every point of view, but major efforts have been focused on improving the quality of services, which results in responsiveness to market demands, speed in giving targeted and customized solutions , with a particular focus on the interaction with the surrounding area.
“This interaction is not only in words – said Jean Marc Droulers – but a business model that aims to find practical application in the construction of networks and partnerships in order to root Villa Erba in the territory.”
A change of mentality and strategy of business that supports Villa Erba in the goal to reach and meet all the needs of customers, offering a wide range of services, from hotel reservations to logistical aspects together with the local Institutions.
Villa Erba is actually focusing to integrate all offers of territory, through the establishment of a business network that brings together operators of the tourism industry.
The evidence to the appreciation of the market towards this renewal effort, even though in a very difficult economic context, is the number of events scheduled for 2013, significantly increasing compared to 2012, with an expected growing turnover of 40%.
With the 5 newly acquired fairs Villa Erba will operate not only as a service provider but also as partners in order to support the start-up.
The peculiarities of the architecture of Villa Erba and its aesthetic features are well suited to special exhibitions, with well-defined themes and relatively small size.
A lot of attention is paid to the seasonality of the activities (not only for the center but also for the nearby hotels): currently, most of the events are concentrated between spring and autumn. The goal will be to cover the whole year, retraining the low season and through events that will lead to a further improvement.
