UK – Bluestone National Park Resort set to launch 600-delegate event space
The Pavilion at Bluestone, a new conference centre in the Bluestone National Park Resort in Pembrokeshire, west Wales will open on 22 September.
The Pavilion at Bluestone will be able to cater for up to 600 delegates in its 670sqm venue and also provide all-weather facilities for corporate activities. Bluestone has seen a rise in corporate activity over the past 18 months, including hosting a major conference for a blue-chip pharmaceutical company’s 600 staff.
The Bluestone National Park Resort includes 1,288 beds in 280 lodges, cottages and apartments and can cater for events such as conferences, meetings, teambuilding, incentives and gala dinners.
“We’re well known for being a luxury short break destination within the UK market,” says Bluestone CEO, William McNamara. “Our corporate and conference activity has been growing year-on-year and the demand is there for a venue capable of hosting medium and large scale conferences and events. Providing a dedicated facility capable of hosting larger events is an obvious step for us” he adds.
In October 2008, Conference Pembrokeshire was launched as a division of Pembrokeshire Tourism.
